In the summer of 2006, five of our Sea Scouts said goodbye to their friends and families as they left to spend a month in Canada and the United States of America.
Watch Leaders Claire Ash, Jenny Hawkin and Pippa Spencer, and Patrol Leaders Clare Barker and Sarah Millbanks had spent an enormous amount of time during the previous 18 months in planning, fundraising and organising the venture, the focal point of which was a ten day expedition through the remote wilderness of Woodland Caribou Provincial Park in Ontario.
